Set up automated screening

To start screening your patients with Mentegram, you add basic patient information and assign the screening instruments. You can either pick from the Instrument Library we provide, such as the PHQ-9 assessment or DSM-5 screens, or create your own.

Our Instrument Library allows you to filter by conditions, to help you easily find what you need.

Screen patients in waiting rooms

Although patients may use their own devices, Mentegram also allows you to connect tablets to your Mentegram Clinical Dashboard and use them to screen your patients while they are waiting in your office. Screening with tablets comes in two modes

self-service kiosk mode that allows your patient to enter their PIN to access the screening instruments that you assigned to them
staff operated mode where your staff sends the screening instrument to the appropriate tablet (by one click in the dashboard) and hands the tablet to the patient

Understand how the patient is doing

Information collected through screening tablets is immediately and securely sent to your Mentegram Clinical Dashboard. If the instrument has a score (like PHQ-9, for example), it’s calculated and displayed in the patient overview as well.

This allows you to better understand what is happening with the patient and create a plan for the patient much more quickly.

Mentegram can even alert you if a client’s responses indicate a high-risk situation (e.g. suicidality).

Deliver treatment to patient’s phone

Mentegram allows you to build personalized care plans and deliver them to your patients’ smartphones.

This gives you an opportunity to provide your patients with educational materials, treatment prompts, and questionnaires, so they have it all available at their fingertips. Your care is with them in their pockets, wherever they go.

Monitor patients between visits

Therapy is tough because our memories are short. Often times you hear, “Everything’s alright, I guess,” but in reality the patient may have gone through a crisis or a difficult period since their last visit.
